Why do so many people ask questions that are actually political rants in disguise?

Doesn't this go against the community guidelines? Then, when you try to show that they are simply pushing a political agenda by answering the question intelligently, they get mad and report you or try to insult you by calling you names which shows their lack of intelligence. Why do so many people ask questions that are actually political rants in disguise?
The perfect example would be anyone who uses the term:

';Neo-Con'; in their question.

---This shows a lack of intelligence in politics. I would classify these people with the Bush=Hitler crowd.

Or, my favorite:

';We all know global warming is caused by people...';

---If you knew that then why did you ask the question?

In fact, ';the debate'; is NOT over!

Everybody thinks they are a political pundit these days since they can read a blog or listen to some idiot on TV spout his claims to knowing something about the truth which is actually his opinion.

Don't let it get to you. Just keep on fighting for the truth! Why do so many people ask questions that are actually political rants in disguise?
Because rant is the best they can do. They have no fist in their ';debate glove.'; Some of the ';top'; conservative ranters in this forum have been challenged to a live, real-time chat debate and every one of them has declined the opportunity.
They believe their own opinions are unquestionable so they rant and whine and then add a question mark. In many cases, this is the extent of their punctuation. Do as I do when I see this form of ignorance, I ignore them.
It truly is an ugly forum, there are good questions and answers from time to time, but it's kind of like trying to have a conversation while somebodies using a jackhammer next to you!
Most of all questions are really statements in disguise...it's not just political. Think about it. ;)
No one seems to care about the TOS, and most of the people on here prefer some kind of quip pseudo debate. I think honestly most of this would go better on some discussion/rant BBS somewhere, but there it is.
I agree....some are so hateful that it is actually shameful. They have the freedom of speech but I guess YA may be the only avenue to spew their venom.

Just be thankful you don't have to work next to them everyday. I shudder to think!
Because liberals only expect the repubs to follow guidelines.

We could be anti american scumbags and report all their posts but unlike them we believe in freedom of speech.
YOU ARE RIGHT!
A good many people here used to be on the Yahoo message boards for the various news stories. You may have noticed those boards no longer exist. They are not hear to ask questions of a community and receive answers. They are hear to be heard. This has become their forum and they are not really interested in your answer so much as their opportunity to speak out. Typically these will only choose your answer if you agree with them wholeheartedly and further their point what ever that may be. It was something to be expected but it does indeed violate the intent of this community.
